I found inspiration from day 37 in the book Meditations from the Mat today as the author suggested that we examine our relationship with the things that hold our attention. Where do we have excess in our lives? Am I obsessed with things, food, work, sex, exercise, ect? Am I energized in these activities or do they come with concern, anxiety, confusion or stress? All can be good things until they consume you. Choosing moderation brings freedom and perspective. I know, I know, we westerners tend to think more is better. Be honest with yourself and try moderation. Enjoy the lightness and freedom it brings!
